![]() ![]() The pistol exhibits the typical early Erfurt nicely machined and rust blued finish with the straw color on the various small parts. The pistol has the standard fixed front and rear sights and the extractor and safety are properly marked with "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN". The right top rear section of the barrel has a small Army test Eagle proof, with many of the smaller parts having the Erfurt "Crown over a script letter" proof. The right barrel extension has the standard "Crown over script" proofs next to an "Imperial Eagle" proof. The chamber is dated 1912, with the standard "Crown/ERFURT" marking on top of the front toggle. Manufactured in 1912, this is an excellent example of a WWI German Erfurt produced Luger pistol.
